Staff and Resource Planning integrates with your staffing/HR application and automates two-way communication with replacement personnel, sorting them according to qualifications and current location and using the most appropriate communications channels to reach them. The solution enables your staffing coordinator to contact and receive confirmations from suitable stand-ins with minimal manual effort – and to stay updated during the process.
Notification to qualification- and/or location-based “hunting list”
When an employee reports his/her absence, your staffing coordinator can immediately initiate an automatic procedure to broadcast a staffing request to a list of extra personnel. The group of individuals can be selected based on qualifications and their current location.
Escalation handling
If no response-SMS is received from a contact within a specified time limit, the request can be escalated to another communications channel, eg a voice call.
Confirmation
The individuals contacted are prompted to confirm or reject the assignment in a return message, which is fed directly back to update the staffing coordinator. When one or several individuals have accepted, they receive more detailed information on the task at hand in their mobile phone.
