VSO performance and operation

LEKAB VSO Platform

The platform is designed to provide safe and reliable messaging services.

Proactive safety

The software used for diagnostics during operation, so that the operational safety of the platform can be secured, constantly monitors all operator connections, computer hardware, Internet, power, software, applications and databases. LEKAB make sure to have enough spare capacity so that the message handling never is affected.

Redundant architecture

LEKAB VSO Platform is designed with a redundant architecture, ensuring availability through clustering of multiple servers. If none server goes down the other takes over without influencing the message handling.

Monitoring

LEKAB have automatic monitoring of the platform operating 24 hours a day 365 days a year. If response times, access to mobile operators or other hardware failure occurs affecting the functionality or capacity, alarms are generated alerting system engineers to take action.

Capacity

The platform is dimensioned by server clusters and as the traffic volumes grow more server clusters can be added in order to ensure that high volumes of messages can be handled.

Operator Capacity

The platform is designed to handle many connecting channels towards the operator’s allowing us to add channels in order to handle high throughput off messages.

Data center

LEKAB VSO platform is based on a redundant server solution in separate data centers. The data centers are classified and designed to ensure a trouble-free operation with a mission to keep the technology working at 100 per cent functionality 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The availability of the internet is redundant and load balanced and protected by firewalls.

Coverage

LEKAB currently has reach to over 700 mobile operators which equal approximately 2 billion mobile subscribers around the world. We are constantly looking for opportunities connecting more networks in order for our customers to reach their clients regardless of where they may be in the world.
