LEKAB joins forces with Eurobate, strengthening our position in the Nordic region

LEKAB Communication Systems AB (LEKAB) and Eurobate A/S, two leading providers of business messaging services in the Nordic region, are merging. The acquisition is being made 100% through LEKAB's parent company Bakel AB.

LEKAB and Eurobate will become one of the few players to fully invest in customized solutions to enhance internal and external communication and automation processes. Marius Franck, CEO of Eurobate, will continue to lead the Norwegian operations from Oslo.

Contrary to many global CPaaS platforms, we don't aim to do everything but rather focus on doing things well that are relevant to our market. This not only provides us with tailored services for larger companies in the Nordic region but also an opportunity to assist our mid-sized customers in taking the initial steps to enhance their efficiency, sales, and growth through mobile text messaging. In LEKAB, we've found a strong customer-focused partner with an in-house developed platform that complements Eurobate with its customized solutions, says Marius Franck, VD Eurobate A/S.

The acquisition is a natural next step in the group's strategic growth plan – establishing a presence in Northern Europe to support our customers and partners in business messaging and process automation.

By combining our strong organic growth and offering development with complementary acquisitions that either provide us with a presence in new markets and/or further enhance our value proposition, we create even better conditions to assist existing and new customers and partners in our region. We also see significant potential to achieve economies of scale as our shared in-house developed communication platform and 24/7 operational organisation are utilised in more markets and by more customers, says LEKAB's Chairman of the Board, Fredrik Ramen.
